Legacy of Heroes

This is a superhero-themed journalling TRPG that leans heavily on themes of legacy and impostor syndrome. Be warned: impostor syndrome can be pretty spicy, so I wouldn't recommend playing this if you think it'll affect you negatively.

Inspired by a whole bunch of stuff, including but not limited to:

• A dream I had this morning about the Teen Titans (from the 2003 cartoon version, specifically) passing their group name and residence down to a new group of superheroic teens;
• A section of yesterday's release of The Whippet newsletter talking about author McKinley Valentine's experience of impostor syndrome during contract work;
• This song about being a phony, which has been living in my head rent-free for at least the last month; and
• A workshop I went to during that conference I was at earlier this month about impostor syndrome and how to deal with it.

I don't think you need to read between the lines to realise that I've experienced impostor syndrome myself as well.

This is the thirteenth one-page TRPG thing of my November 2022 series. I'm aiming to finish 22 of them - one for each weekday of the month. Be warned: few, if any, of these games will be playtested before release. Some will be trash, and others maybe slightly less so. Enjoy!
